Your Pesky Ego

Every reaction to your outer reality is your ego. Practice quieting your ego so you can stop wasting time on trying to change others, or change their opinion of you. Free up your thought space to practice knowing yourself and releasing ego-y thoughts that are holding you back from designing your ideal experience. I promise, it won’t take long to realize that focusing on your ego’s ideas are just time wasted.

This is not to say that you should ignore your ego. Actually, you should acknowledge your ego. Appreciate that it is just trying to help you survive how you learned to survive. But instead of hi John f in and repeating its ideas, surrender them to something greater. Don’t surrender *to them.* Surrender to their opposite. At least until your ego calms down and starts learning a new and improved way to help you survive.
