Situational Crap Outcomes

Seven of Swords jumps in reversed today to ask you to consider your ideas of success. Our latte further explains that you are the common denominator in every “situation” you experience. So your perception of an outcome is all you can truly experience. Which means your perception of the outcome is all that matters. No one else’s.

But you seem to be holding yourself to other people’s standards for success. And this is what’s delaying your progress.

Rehashing – A (Successful) Waste of Time

It’s not a bad thing to “study” a situation’s outcome in order to learn from it. This is a great way to dive deeper into the steps of your path toward mastery. This is how you take a closer look at what you already know and improve upon it with newly acquired information.

But rehashing is different. Rehashing is how we intentionally look for fault instead of improvement. This approach stops your forward momentum down your goal’s path. You literally come to a complete stop. Which makes it a complete waste of time.

Crap Outcomes

We perceive situations as steps toward our goal. And we have preconceived notions about what those steps should look like. Which is why situations with (perceived) crappy outcomes can cause us to doubt our ability to successfully reach our goals. And if you like to rehash situations, rather than study them, you’re more than likely standing still, doubting your goal.

But if the goal is all that matters to you, then mediocre/crap outcomes don’t make a sh*t bit of difference. When it comes to success, all that matters is your desire and vision of the goal, not situational outcomes along the way. Remember and re-experience your vision of the goal. Not how you think you should get there.

Change - Like it Or Not
