How to Set Yourself Free

We are going to start at the beginning, with the 4 of Pentacles reversed. Because that’s what we must reconcile before we can realize that we are intentionally confusing ourselves to avoid committing to the very change we say we want.

Am I Confused?

Your subconscious wants you to know that, “Yes, you are confused.” But not terribly confused. Confused just enough to keep yourself from being able to truly embrace your vision of the change you want. Which is holding things up.

I know. It seems weird that anyone would purposely avoid bringing about such amazing change. But we all do it because deep down we think that we have to “let go” of our old life. But the truth is, we have to understand that we are not letting go, we are setting ourselves free.

And fortunately for you, you came upon this blog so your subconscious can tell you how.

Setting Yourself Free

In order to truly embrace the change you want, you must see the results of the change in your Mind’s Eye. You must imagine it in detail. You must imagine/see yourself, in the First Person, experiencing the life you desire.

But for some reason, this has been intimidating for you. Probably because it’s a drastic change from what you’re experiencing now. And you know that you must leave the past behind. Which, no matter how tough (or undesirous) things have been, the past has become like an old, familiar friend.

So, in order to avoid truly taking the reins of change, you’ve “subconsciously on purpose” been confusing the definitions of “taking” and “receiving” so you could block the flow of change from entering your life.

I’ll Explain

Taking

“Taking” is the “what’s in it for me?” attitude. It approaches what you “get” from something as the primary purpose for taking an action. It gives little attention to the value of what you’re contributing in exchange for a price. Basically, it focuses on the price, rather than the product.

This is how you’ve been imagining your Village of the Perfect Outcome. You’re paying attention to what you’re going to take away, rather than what you are going to receive. And this is why things are not changing for you.

Receiving

“Receiving”, on the other hand, is to accept. You can look at “receiving” as you would look at a gift or present.

Gifts/presents are given because others have come to see your value. Be it in you or what you have to offer. It’s very obviously a less aggressive approach. It focuses on quality and reciprocity. It’s not because you simply want what someone has to give. But rather, you can see that what you contribute adds value to their lives in such a way that they want to reciprocate by giving you what you desire.

So now, with all of that said, give some thought to the saying, “What you give is what you get.” Because what matters is how you give what you have which determines the change (if any) you receive.

You Don't Have to Do It All

You Don't Have to Do It All

You don’t have to do it all. You simply have to make what you do count. The first thing you need to do is think all of your options through — objectively. You want to choose to take the action which is thorough. The actions which contain all the elements of what you have to offer. A well
