Change Does Heal Your Heart

Your subconscious wants to start off with, you’re doing really good. It takes a little time and practice, but you are beginning to realize that by simply setting a goal you are the one who is creating the change you are experiencing. Which makes the change more palatable, and you less resistant to it.

You may not realize this next part, though. Knowing and accepting that change is the way to your goal is actually quite healing for you.

In Essence

You want that goal. And since your goal is different from how things are right now, the very nature of a goal is change. Thus, things must change in order to reach it. For the perceived “better or worse,” they must change. And however different your life is now from the goal you see for yourself, the more significant and noticeable the changes in your life must be.

So you are finally beginning to realize that you can’t want a change (the goal) and simultaneously resist change (the changes along the way). Which means you’re finally beginning to allow change to happen.

Embracing Change

Embracing change because you know it has a greater purpose (which is reaching your goal), helps you learn to love each and every change along the way. Knowing this, you actually begin to desire change. This is the knowledge which heals. Because it releases you from the burden of guilt and of regret which often come with change. It gives change a purpose, a reason. And it makes room for gratitude and optimism.

But this is not to say that you won’t celebrate or mourn the emotions which come with change. Because the whole point is to have experiences which elicit an emotion along the way to achieving the life you envision for yourself.
