Emotional Situations

It’s true that your life’s situations cause you to stop and think. That’s the whole point, actually. But the point is not to hyper-focus on analyzing the situation. The point is to understand yourself through the reactions you are having.

Learn to step back and observe yourself. Ask yourself questions about why YOU are reacting this way, instead of trying to understand why someone else reacted the way they did. This is how you will be able to make adjustments to your thoughts so you can have a life experience you desire.

By improperly focusing on an emotional situation, you are actually having a life experience created by someone else.

The Solution

Naturally, the bigger your emotional reaction to a situation the more time you will spend thinking about it. Searching for solutions. But as you have learned, solutions are not found by searching. They are presented when you are otherwise occupied doing things which inspire you.

You may not have realized that while you’ve been dwelling on the thoughts your situations have stimulated, time is still passing. So the more time you continue to spend breaking your own heart, the less time you have to observe your life and understand the adventure you are actually living.
