The biggest issue with negative thoughts is that they haunt us. We dwell on them. And we become wounded by them. We even try to ignore them by learning how to stop thinking them. But each of these scenarios just adds more negative thoughts. So what do we do?

Realize that negative thoughts are telling you something about yourself. Something you need to know. Something you need to really understand about yourself. Stop dodging and ignoring your negative thoughts. And stop making excuses for why you’re having them.

Explore them for their underlying meaning. Be objective, not reactive. This way you can come to know yourself better. Once you know yourself you become comfortable with yourself. And this is how you will be able to move past negative thoughts and onto a new approach to your life.
